Marcelo Viera Argentina

Guitarist born on August 1, 1970 in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

He began studying classical guitar at it 12 years and at 20 was received from Professor Elemental Guitar at “Academia Romero”, a private academy in his hometown.

Also Marcelo studied at Berklee Method on "El Taller de Música y Arte" whose Musical Director was the prestigious argentine musician David Lebón. And he took lessons in flamenco guitar with Prof. Enrique de Córdoba.

Thanks to its acquired musical knowledge, he could study alone his favorite guitar players: Eddie Van Halen, Steve Vai, Joe Satriani; etc.

In 1993 Marcelo formed VICIOSA, his first rock band with which he recorded his first production.

In 1997 he released the book with CD "30 YEITES TOP" (Editorial Ricordi, Argentina), a collection of 30 exercises of 10 guitarists of Rock.

In 1998 he formed MARCELO VIERA PROJECT, presenting its instrumental originals and some covers.

In 1999 he formed LOUDER, Mötley Crüe tribute band, with which it shares the stage with Gilby Clarke, Eric Singer, Steven Adler, Tracii Guns, Michael Monroe, Pappo, beside other distinguished musicians.

In 2005 he formed SPANISH FLY, Van Halen tribute band. With this band Marcelo was presented in Santiago de Chile and as guest band of Vince Neil in Buenos Aires.

SPANISH FLY appears as tribute band of Argentina in the official book of Van Halen "EVERYBODY WANTS SOME: VAN HALEN THE SAGA".

In 2014 the representative in Argentina of "Kramer Guitars" recognizes Marcelo Viera as "Authorized User" to use the trademark "Kramer" in their presentations.

From here Marcelo Viera performs 2 types of events for Kramer Guitars: GUITAR SOUND (mini shows & clinics) and KRAMER EXHIBITION (exhibition and demonstration of guitars). These two events were held in several cities in Argentina.
